Aprilia Workshop by Atelier Bloom Bloom

Our adventure in flower-land continued this spring, as we joined Atelier Bloom Bloom and a group of very talented ladies for yet another inspiring day spent outdoors.

This is Aprilia, a spring floral gathering by Atelier Bloom Bloom – if you remember last year’s Octobria, this is her younger “sister”. We went back to The Wedding House and its wild surroundings to find a totally different scenery: fresh green young leaves, fluffy catkins and tendrils instead of golden autumn fields and ripe berries. Here is the diary of a very intense day – with bright sun, heavy winds, rainstorm and all. And some flower magic.

{Food story} Spring gather

What we all should remember these days is that the rain always brings the sun and the spring always means summer is close by. So this is a farewell to spring and so we can begin to welcome summer. A season of beautiful events, new friends, the time to let go and start new adventures.

This is our special dinner held this spring with our friends Alina&Ghica from The wedding house and Floriana & Vlad& Ivan (aka Flori de Menta).

A special thank you goes to Dalia from Zala , for being part of this gather with her beautiful ceramics. Her pieces reflect the soft textures and simplicity of the countryside.

If you know anything about us, then you know we could not stay away from this experience. One sunny autumn day, golden fields and berry shrubs, our favourite venue, mouthwatering food and, above all, FLOWERS! We joined Laura and Andreea of Atelier Bloom Bloom and their attendees for the Octobria floral retreat, at The Wedding House. And then we let ourselves immersed into wonderful colours, bird chirping, wind and sun on our faces and a lot of fun watching this group of talented ladies creating beauty.
